Song Monument of Tsuneo Ishihama

This monument is dedicated to the novelist and songwriter Tsuneo Ishihama, the sole apprentice of Yasunari Kawabata who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. It is inscribed with a verse from one of his hit pop songs. 1923 -2004
