The Site of Toshiharu Shikida Private School Hyakuenjuku

The Japanese classi – cal scholar, Toshiharu Shik ida, was born in 1817, and opened the “Hyakuenjuku” private school in the Horie area of Osaka in 1888, which moved to its present site in 1897. Toshiharu Shikida also helped found Kogakukan University.
