The Monument of Kanzenka

This monument is dedicated to the Confucian scholar, Nangaku Fujisawa, who was active towards the end of the Tokugawa Bakufu government era, and is inscribed with one of his lifestyle mottos “How should we live?” written in the style of the Chinese classics.
