Literary Monument of Junichiro Tanizaki

This monument was erected to commemorate the completion of the National Bunraku (Puppet)Theatre in 1984. This black granite monument is engraved with the emblems of the Toyotake and Takemoto theaters and a passage from a novel written by Jun’ichiro Tanizaki.
