Monument Honoring Rikyu Sen

Legend has it that the residence of Rikyu Sen, the famous tea ceremony master, was situated on the southeast side of Tamatsukuri Inari Jinja Shrine. A vein of good quality water ran through here, which Served as the water source for tea ceremonies held here.
