Monument of Tetsugoshi

“Tetsugoshi” was the name of the satirist poet Namimaru Tetsugoshi in the Edo period （1603 to 1867）. His regular trade was ironwork, and he made “koshi” or entrance grills out of iron, which was rare for that time, and which he adopted as his name.
