Doshomachi Pharmaceutical and Historical Museum

This museum was opened on the 3rd floor of the Sukunahikona Jinja Shrine office. On display are medicine materials from the Edo period (1603 to 1867), signboards from the Meiji (1868 to 1912), Taisho (1912 to 1926) and Showa periods (1926 to 1989), and other medicine-related materials from this area.
There is also a replica of the handwriting by the novelist, Jun’ichiro Tanizaki.
